The Ashland-based residential design firm was honored in two categories — a residential addition and a whole-house renovation — each completed in partnership with a New England builder.
ASHLAND, Mass. — GMT Home Designs received two Gold PRO Awards at the 2026 PRO Awards, presented by PRO New England on June 3 at the Clarke Showroom in Milford, Massachusetts. The firm was recognized in the Residential Addition ($250,000–$500,000) category for a project completed with ReModern Builders, and in the Entire House Over $1.5 Million category for a project completed with JM Bryson Construction Management.
The PRO Awards are among the most respected honors in New England residential design and remodeling. Entries are judged blind by a panel of remodelers, architects, and designers from outside the organization, who score each project on a standardized ballot with no names or identifying details attached. Gold and Silver are awarded by category based on that peer scoring — recognition earned strictly on the merits of the work.
The honors continue a strong run for GMT, which earned two Gold and two Silver PRO Awards in 2025.
The two winning projects had little in common beyond the standard they were held to:
