The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) names GMT Home Designs Inc. Regional CotY™ (Contractor of the Year) Winner

February 14, 2019, Ashland, MA — The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) named GMT Home Designs Inc, in Ashland, MA  2019 Eastern Massachussets Regional CotY winner in the Residential Kitchen Over $150,000 category of its annual awards competition.

NARI’s Evening of Excellence℠ reception will be held on Friday, April 12 at the Wyndham San Diego Bayside, San Diego, CA. The winning kitchen was truly a transformation. The original kitchen was dark, dated, and lacked storage space. It was cut off from the rest of the house and needed an update. The project involved removing the wall between the dining room and kitchen and extending the kitchen off the back of the house. The new design included lots of storage, a new island with seating, and added windows bringing in much needed natural light. The new sight lines from the rest of the home as well as the traffic flow makes this kitchen a seamless and beautiful space in the home. The kitchen is now a hub of activity for the whole family.

NARI is a professional association whose members adhere to a strict code of ethics. To be considered for a CotY Award, a company must be a NARI member in good standing.
