Janice has been a registered architect in MA for 20 years.
Janice has experience designing houses and remodeling in Boston and Florida in the 90's. With over a decade of experience designing interior office space for State Street Bank, Hancock Insurance, a couple of radio stations, and even some retail; Janice is also a licensed Interior Designer.
While staying at home to raise her 2 daughters, Janice served on the Algonquin High School Building Committee. This was a valuable experience in public process and school design.
Returning to the field, Janice has a passion for "green" architecture typified by the integral reuse of a remodeling project. Having grown up in a historical home, with a father/brother antique furniture repair business, Janice has sensitivity to respecting historical details. Raising a family in the 21st century Janice has a deep familiarity with contemporary living.
Sustainability is also a passion for Janice and is encouraged by the growing interest in our culture of incorporating these considerations into home design.
Janice has been working with Glenn, owner of GMT Home Designs, for the past two years.
